Censorship & Freedom of Speech on Music

Throughout the history of music, some artists have been denounced, ridiculed, and banned as a result of their controversial lyrics. Artists like rap star folderol Cube and shock rocker Marilyn Manson have received a considerable deal of negative attention from the media due to their unpleasant lyrics. As a result of these lyrics being so unsettling to some, these artists along with many others in the present and past, have been protested, fined, and even sued. Some state claim that these artists be harmful to the youth, while others claim that they are just plain obscene. Some even stand against them because of unearthly reasons. In any event, the commencement exercise amendment to the United States Constitution states clearly that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the stark exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to bespeak the government for a redress of grievances (United States). Very well written. I think ill get my soundless to read this. She might get off my back for listning to Ice Cube.

I really enjoyed reading this essay it was not only interest but very well written with many great points, and a very good topic chosen.

I love this point - By protesting and petitioning against these artists, they are exercising the exact akin rights as the artists themselves are expressing. (so true never looked at it that substance before)
