The join States as a whole is classified as an independent state because it meets the requirements that any state essential have. These requirements be it must have a solid living population, it must have definite land that makes the area up, it must be sovereign, and it must have or so sort of a centralised government institution. With the united States being the 3rd largest agricultural in terms of population, it defiantly meets the standards of being a state. The territory of the country is easily and clearly defined because it is most of the continent. There was at one point a territory dispute mingled with the United States and Mexico only it was eventually resolved through war. The United States is withal a Sovereign state because it is non lean by anyone or any place but the raft and representatives that live there. That leads to the last reason why the United States is a state which is that it has its own centralized government that creates and enforces the laws of the country. The United States was also created under the Social Contract Theory which states that the state arose start of a voluntary act of free people. This was the case for the United States during the Revolutionary War as we tried to break apart from England.
