In Harper Lees novel Scout tends to al ways defend herself when psyche is insulting her or her family with her fists and fighting. Throughout the novel Atticus tries to wear shore her of this habit and attempts to teach her that there are other ways to solve a disagreement rather then fighting. You king hear some ugly talk about it at school. But do one thing for me if you will: you adept hold your head high and keep those fists down. Even though Scout doesnt want to discard her fathers advice she finds it harder to mountain pass away from a fight than to just ignore the things being said.
The advice Atticus gave to Scout was good because even though u want to defend yourself when other people say dismal things about you violence still never solves anything. Itll only build the situation worse as the people who are facial expression the ugly talk know that what they say will base you angry or hurt in a way. so theyll just keep doing it till the point where youre used to it and devising you angry isnt playfulness any more.
But if you ignore their insults and do absolutely nonhing about what theyre saying theyll stop because its not entertaining and find another person to make fun of.
